Eddie the Eagle

Celebrate the courage, character and determination of Michael Edwards, better known as Eddie the Eagle. The British ski jumper from Cheltenham captured hearts around the world when he represented Great Britain at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary, competing in both the 70-metre and 90-metre ski-jumping events.

With limited funding and far less experience than many of his rivals, Eddie pursued his Olympic dream against the odds. Although he finished last in both events, his enthusiasm, bravery and refusal to give up made him one of the Games’ most memorable competitors. His story became a celebration of taking part, believing in yourself and finding the courage to try.

Later brought to a new audience through the film Eddie the Eagle, his journey continues to inspire fans of winter sports and anyone who loves an underdog story. This collection celebrates that uplifting spirit: dreaming big, overcoming setbacks and giving life your very best shot.
